An Autumnal Appreciation
Lovely customers, don’t let the weather fool you. Autumn is in full swing, high temperatures be damned, and that means Thanksgiving is almost here. We couldn’t be more excited to savor all of the great things about the holiday: delicious homemade dishes, good friends, quality family time, love, laughter and libations. There’s still time, before the mad dash to the grocery store, to craft a beautiful setting in which to enjoy all this goodness.
There’s no better way to celebrate the holiday than by embracing the warm reds, oranges, yellows and umbers of the season. Just look at how nature shows off with its vibrant autumn leaves, not to mention all the freshly harvested, deliciously hued squash, pumpkins, yams and persimmons. Take a tip from master painters, consult your color wheel and contrast all this warm and cozy color with hues from the cooler side of the spectrum. Against a backdrop of Judy Jackson‘s aquamarine, sea green and cobalt ceramics, your holiday dishes will look even more delectable.
Keep the theme of vibrant, contrasting colors running through your holiday table with jewel toned, delightfully mismatched aperitif glasses and colorfully hand stitched napkins. Tie it all together with quirky typography-adorned dinnerware that is as versatile and easy as ABC.
Prepare and serve your mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce and stuffing with these warm, lightweight and eco-friendly teak utensils. While your hungry guests await the main event, prep their palates with some hors d’oeuvres (like a medley of olives in one of these dishes), and fix them a festive drink with this fancy brass bar tool set. It will make it a little easier for them to resist the irresistible smells wafting from your kitchen.
Friends, we wish you a most delightful, delectable and delicious Thanksgiving. We raise a glass to you, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting our little shop. Bon appetit!
